Hey Pickleball Friends!
How can you enhance, enrich and elevate your time on the court?
How can you prevent injuries or recover from the ones you have?
How can you strengthen, stretch and balance your body for an improved time on the court?
What do you do to improve mobility and reduce pain?
With 50 million Americans playing pickleball last year, the orthopedists, physical therapists and other practitioners have seen their practices boost with injuries and issues associated with pickleball.
If you are not doing something off the court to help your time on the court, then you might be missing out on the best your body can offer. Join me to stabilize, mobilize and bring more self awareness. Through the lens of biomechanics, yoga and therapeutic yoga, I will give you tools and resources that will enhance your understanding of your body and it’s compensatory defaults that lead to injury and help you reset, restore and hopefully revive your playtime (whether it’s pickleball, biking or hiking or …)
I’m Jennifer, yoga teacher and therapist, and while I do play a bit of pickleball, my favorite spot is helping others with body challenges, injuries and improving their time on the pickleball court. After 3 decades in the fitness world as a teacher and coach, my classes take the most practical components of what yoga offers and teach a style of yoga fusion that is less about getting into a yoga pose and more about using a variety of movements to resource and support the body for life’s activities. My husband, Mike, is a teacher and senior pickleball pro. We have a quiet, cozy little getaway spot for pickleball and yoga in our coastal town of Los Osos, California. See our airbnb link to schedule your getaway or email to set up private online or in person classes with Jennifer or Pickleball Coaching with Mike on our private court.
